About us
We are Indonesian-Dutch couple, married in 2002, resident of Utrecht - The Netherlands, have one spoiled dog named Milo and one "gonna be spoiled" baby Isabelle.
This webpage mainly is use to share our story and pictures to our family and friends. But of course we always welcome for new friends.
The idea of this webpage is to share our story and pictures to our family and friends.
Since Ira's Dutch language is far from perfect and Dimitri's Indonesian language is even worse, we decided to use English as the main language in this blog,
eventhough lately due to the laziness of Ira, Indonesian language seems to take over.

Few weeks ago I cooked batagor for Dim's birthday.... I forgot to upload the pictures.... pamer ceritanya.. tscaaahhh  For anyone who doesn't know it.. batagor is kind of snack that you eat in the afternoon of if you're not very hungry.... it consist of chicken, shrimp, tofu, potato and eeg... and of course peanut's sauce for dressing.... and the taste.... hmmmm ... in the last picture, there should have been peanut's sauce on the top but by the time I'm finished serving it, I got so hungry and just start to eat it... and forgot to take the picture... hehehe

Today I start to work at 12 am so I can be wake up a bit late.... effe knuffelen met Milo, cos he also doesn't like to wake up early.... this morning Dimitri almost came late to work, he doesn't hear the wekker alarm rung... or either he heard it and automatisch hit it off.... 
Anyway, in msn I ran across Bernie... Bernie is an old chat friend...  we chatted since 1999, back then I haven't even knew Dimitri. Been along time since we chatted. Because of the time different, we're both getting busy, inburgering cursus then I got job and he gots new job so we barely chat at the same time anymore. With Bernie I can talk about anything... or just talking about nothing... and laugh.... I miss those old days 
We used webcam during our chat... Bernie looks good... he looks younger especially cos he get rid the Ron Jeremy mustache... hehe he told me he lost 15 lbs, that's about 7,5 kg I guess.... I asked if he was on diet or something, he said no... simply because of stress on new job.... that is great I think... well I don't mean great cos he stressed but 'cos he lost weight.... when I get stress... I'm tend to eat even more...

I gained weight again... hikssss.... I really have to do some sport at some point... all the winter's kg stucked with me even now already spring. Some of my collega suggested diet... but let's face it... diet and I never get along... I have never dieting in my life.... I can't stand hungry especially here in Netherlands.... the temperature is so cold, makes me craving for food every few hours.
I did try some jogging, but with this weather???!!!???? It's raining outside!!! And cold!!! I'm not build for this weather.. hehehe. Sport in the gym?? then my answer will be: When??? I work 32 hours per week, plus transport time, in total I'm out of the house 8 to 9 hours per day.... plus school at night once a week... plus walking the dog.... I run out of time...

The weather last weekend was perfect. For the first time in last few months, I can went outside without my winter equipment (read: jacket/hat/gloves/shawl). And last sunday was my birthday too..... so it was perfect weekend. But it makes me remember Denny too, cos it's been a habit, on my birthday I'll buy him gift instead of him buying me one. He always said, it because I have a job and he doesn't But I don't mind... I wish this year I still can buy him gift
Well, anyway... like I said the weather was perfect, so we decided to do some walking. We lives in the area close to central, called Hoograven. Close to Hoograven is a suburb called Lunetten. In the old days, Lunetten is kind of fortress that protect Utrecht from outside. So behind my house, there a big pond that lead to small forest. This forest of Hoograven connecting to forest of Lunetten which is around Fort Lunetten. We walked around for almost two hours to Fort Lunetten.

Been more than a week since Denny passed away.... God, how time flies!
Sometimes I don't really realized that he's gone... being in Netherlands and not in Indonesia during his funeral makes me less realizing the fact. I miss him very much.... I miss our chat, our jokes, our secret jokes about our mom, our telephone conversations... compares to my other brothers, Denny is the closest one in age different to me, I guess that makes us close in a way of thinking too.
I think it will be weird to go to Surabaya next time without having Denny there.... now I still can fool my self, pretending that we just being separated by distance not by death....
