We are Indonesian-Dutch couple, married in 2002, resident of Utrecht - The Netherlands, have one spoiled dog named Milo and one "gonna be spoiled" baby Isabelle.
This webpage mainly is use to share our story and pictures to our family and friends. But of course we always welcome for new friends.
The idea of this webpage is to share our story and pictures to our family and friends.
Since Ira's Dutch language is far from perfect and Dimitri's Indonesian language is even worse, we decided to use English as the main language in this blog,
eventhough lately due to the laziness of Ira, Indonesian language seems to take over.

Whuuaaaaa... finally, back to 100 Mbps...  ... arrived yesterday at 6 am in Schiphol.... everything went smooth through Immigration and Custom, if I know it will be that smooth, I'll bring lots of pirates DVD and software... hehehe
Anyway... I'll just take it easy.. and spend more time with Dim and Milo.. I miss them so much.. one of these days I'll tell more about my trip in Surabaya.. right now, I'll just editing the strange characters on my previous post.

hmm I just noticed, when I write my blog in word then copy/paste in blogger, I get all strange character like â € ™

Hi again... been a long time since I update this blog. I'm in my hometown now, let's face it... if you are used to connection 100 Mbps, connection 44 kbps makes you want to scream and tearing up your hair... Many time I tried to open blogger.com and gave up... I don't have enough patient to wait until the whole page open... funny, 'cos 3 years ago I will be thrilling to have 44 kbs, usually I can only get 36 kbps with dialups. So I write this in notepad and upload it at once.
Anyway, I arrived safely in Surabaya, leaving on 27 Januari 8.30 pm from Schiphol, arrived in Singapore the next day around 2 pm, then continue to Jakarta. I picked up my ticket in Garuda's counter in airport then continue to Surabaya. Arrived in Juanda at about 9 pm... I'm home
I was very much annoyed when I picked my ticket in Garuda. As always in queue, there are some people that just very rude and inconsiderate... what's wrong with queuing? For some reason, queue becomes a lost art in Indonesia. People just cutting in front of other people... want to be the first to get ticket.... So, you get your ticket first. Then what? You still have to wait for others in the gate. Plane won't leave without the rest of the passengers.
I was waiting in line. In front of me was one western couples, they were talking to the Garuda’s officer. Being in Netherlands for almost 3 years makes me automatically stand a bit far from them to give them privacy. When they were done, I wait until they finished picking up all their suitcase... and guess what some woman just cutting me and talked to the officer. I was like... what!!! Doesn't she saw me waiting there... does she think I just stand there for fun. I felt like grab her hair and give her some word... But then again I thought, I just landed in my own country less than 30 minutes, I'm not going to argue. So I just let her. When she finished, some guy tried to cut me again. This time I don't let him. Luckily, the office also saw that I'm there first so he told that guy to wait. My small victory!
Anyway, Denny is very sick. He can’t stand up or even sit on his own. He is lying down all day. I companying him from time to time, a bit chit chat or companying him to sleep.
Once a day, women from church community come and we do community prayer from Denny.

I tried to upload this draft yesterday, but the connection was so slow that I almost scream. I can’t do anything with internet... took me ages just to download my email... so after 15 minutes and Blogger won't even open, I just shut it down.
Anyway, today, Denny's condition is going down.... He got a very bad headache and he can't barely eat let alone talk.... It makes me sad to look at him... I hope he feels better soon
