About us
We are Indonesian-Dutch couple, married in 2002, resident of Utrecht - The Netherlands, have one spoiled dog named Milo and one "gonna be spoiled" baby Isabelle.
This webpage mainly is use to share our story and pictures to our family and friends. But of course we always welcome for new friends.
The idea of this webpage is to share our story and pictures to our family and friends.
Since Ira's Dutch language is far from perfect and Dimitri's Indonesian language is even worse, we decided to use English as the main language in this blog,
eventhough lately due to the laziness of Ira, Indonesian language seems to take over.
Please feel free to browse around and give us your comment.

SUMMER IS COMING!!!!!!
"Surya bersinar, udara segar
Terima kasih
Di tepi pantai, ombak berderai
Terimaaaa kasiiihhh
Terima kasih seribu
Pada Tuhan Allahku
Aku bahagia karena dicinta
Terima kasih"
I got that song stuck inside my head in the past few days. I learnt it on Sunday school when I was a kid. A kind of song to say thank you to God for the perfect day. The sun is shining, the air is fresh. We have the perfect weather since last week. Thank you, God!
The downside is that I have to work , so I can't really enjoy the sun to maximum. The good thing is that the company where I work doesn't really have dresscode or what so ever. As long as is polite enough to wear in office environment. So I can wear all my summer clothes that I brought from Indonesia. But still, I envy those people who can enjoying the sun, sailing, sitting in the cafe. Not that I want to make my self tan or anything... no..thank you... I guess I just want to have the sun as maximum as I can....
It's something typical Netherlands I guess, to sit in outside, wearing as minimum as possible, to get tan (free) as possible. I treat my eyes in the past few days by watching them.... in cafe, in balcony, in their garden.. some of the girls are topless even (in their balcony not in cafe, of course ). I never really a sun worshipper and I guess I'll never will be. But living in Netherlands for 2 years now makes me start to appreciate the sun abit more than when I was in Indonesia. We, Indonesians, are spoiled very much by the sun... we always have sun.. sun always shines from 06.00 am to 06.00 pm. Here.... I'm craving for the sun.....
So, lets sing with me... "Surya bersinar, udara segar... Terima kasih"
