About us
We are Indonesian-Dutch couple, married in 2002, resident of Utrecht - The Netherlands, have one spoiled dog named Milo and one "gonna be spoiled" baby Isabelle.
This webpage mainly is use to share our story and pictures to our family and friends. But of course we always welcome for new friends.
The idea of this webpage is to share our story and pictures to our family and friends.
Since Ira's Dutch language is far from perfect and Dimitri's Indonesian language is even worse, we decided to use English as the main language in this blog,
eventhough lately due to the laziness of Ira, Indonesian language seems to take over.

Fly is protected!!!! 
 Believe is or not!!! In the past few weeks we have trouble with flies in office. Summer is really in and so the fly. Few months ago one of my collega bought special fly papers, kind of paper that sticky to catch a fly, cos we had a fly attack also. We run out of those kind of paper. With the kind of fly attack that happening lately, we need more papers.
So few days ago my collega went to Lucas Klamer, kind of Makro shop to buy those sort of paper. She can't find those paper anywhere in the shop, so she asked to the customer service when can she expected those paper. The customer service checked on her computer and said, "Oh het spijt mij. We verkopen het niet meer. Het mag niet bij de dierenbescherming" (sorry, we don't sell it anymore. It is not allowed by the animal right protection)
???!!!??? WHAT!!!! My collega can't believe her ears. She repeated what the customer service said. And the answer was, "Ja, het mag niet bij de dierenbescherming". The reason is that the animal right protection thinks that the paper fly system is not human. Because it doesn't kill the fly right away but torture them to death. Unbelievable, isn't it?
Then my collega said, "Who's going to protect us from the flies then!" 
It is so unbelievable sometimes how things works in Netherlands. On one side I can understand perfectly how unhuman it is to catch a fly with a sticky paper and let them die slowly. But on the side I can't stop but thinking, "So what?!?!?! It's fly, for God's sake. It's dirty and capable to make you very sick.....  and for who doesn't know it, flies in Netherlands are BIG.
And the end, what she can buy to fight the fly attack is some spray that kill the fly instantly..... a very strong chemical stuff , which is actually also not healthy for human. C'est la vie... life in Netherlands

Not a good week at all  , dim is sick for few days... he felt it already since monday but being stubborn as he is, he just ignored it . Though it was fun on wednesday at Soes, meet Soes after sometimes, got introduced to her mother and sister.... make me want to meet my mother again... , but then dim's back getting worse when we came home.
Thursday morning dim still drove me to work even he still feel the pain...  but then he can't make it to go to office and just lay down on the bed until yesterday... . Today is quite ok, he tries to walk abit, go downstairs and upstairs. Get well soon, sayang
As usual, when dim is sick, I got all time in my hand... so I cleaned the house, kitchen and even made my own first macaroni... you should be proud of me, mom...
I even have time to change the template of hamira.... hope amelia and hanna like it... especially the poem that i found on google... i miss you guys...

We have a good weather on saturday, so we decided to go to the "honden speelweide" close to our house. Milo likes it very much, especially cos he can run freely without rope. We also buy a basket for Milo to be put at my bicycle. We tried it a bit around the area but Milo needs to be really used to it. Cos everytime he sees another dog or kid plays with ball, he tried to jump out of the basket
Again, we lost another ball.... need to buy a new one next week.
Sunday, weather was not really good, it's not raining... Thank God.. but also no sun... good thing that it's not too cold... but then again without sun, we don't feel like sitting or playing outside.
In the afternoon, there was abit sun so we decided to do something to our garden...
