About us
We are Indonesian-Dutch couple, married in 2002, resident of Utrecht - The Netherlands, have one spoiled dog named Milo and one "gonna be spoiled" baby Isabelle.
This webpage mainly is use to share our story and pictures to our family and friends. But of course we always welcome for new friends.
The idea of this webpage is to share our story and pictures to our family and friends.
Since Ira's Dutch language is far from perfect and Dimitri's Indonesian language is even worse, we decided to use English as the main language in this blog,
eventhough lately due to the laziness of Ira, Indonesian language seems to take over.

It's been a long time since I write anything here..... there was something wrong with the electricity three days ago in Sedati so I can't get online or even turn on the computer 
And yesterday, the first time I'm online since thursday then it rained!!!! Big rain.... with lightning and everything, so I turned off the computer
I miss Dim....
So funny sometimes, I never really realize how much you get used to something until you're not there to enjoy it.... maybe I can not tell it right... maybe this part of our chat can show better about my feeling

My third day in Surabaya..... just being lazy.... I want to wake up late but not succesful, I woke up early again today, had bubur ayam for breakfast.... take shower... got pain in my stomach... I have to get used to all spicy food here again...
I took some snapshots of my new nephew, he's so cute with his big nose...  hehehe.... as if he knew that I'm taking pictures of him, he made funny faces all the time

Later today I'm going to meet Hanna and Amelia.

Arrived today at 10 am in juanda.... I'm sooo tired... unlike usual, this trip I can't sleep at all.... I finished the whole book from Alan Folsom 'cos I can't sleep at all... played some games mostly tetris...
I felt bad the whole trip mostly because I missed you so much... and also Milo.... keep looking at my watch, wondering what you guys doing there....
On the other hand, I'm also happy to be back in Sby.... see everyone... the babies... champy.....
Sby is terribly hot this time... I'm sweaty all over.. have to get used to it, I guess....

Today it was raining the whole day .. not nice, also Milo did not like to go out, so we just played a bit inside. But most of the time Milo was sleeping this night. We miss you very much, see?
I wish i was there too, would love to meet everyone again .. hopefully in a few months! Have fun, big kiss and talk to you soon...

almost finish with packing up... waiting for dim he is better with packing up than me... hehehe....
leaving at 12 tomorrow... have to wake up early to get a good seat....
i'm bit confused now... i really want to go to indo but i'm also want to stay....  with dim... with milo.....

3 daysoff!!!!! Just what I need.... the weather was perfect... I'm with the man I love, with my dog that I love too... what can beat that?
I was planning to upload some more pictures and make link to the website but then with this perfect weather, who wants to be stucked behind computers....  .... but today I managed to upload some just for preview... hope to have more time later to make the photo page....
it's spring... flowers everywhere.. and when I say everywhere its really everywhere..... sometimes I feel it ironic... Indonesia is known for all the richness in horticultura... known for all the rain forest.. the greenness.... the beautiness for all the flowers.... but why don't we have some nice park to sit or to walk in the city in Indonesia.... sure we have so many places to go with beautiful scenery.... but nothing is close.. you have to take car, bus, or whatever.....
but anyway.... seeing all the flowers on the tree made me feel abit narcistic, last week when we walked with Milo, we took some snapshot in the area close to our house... this area is special place for dogs to walk or play or doing their "duty"
our house is about the 6th house after that corner
Milo choosed to bite his belt instead of taking a nice pose....
