We are Indonesian-Dutch couple, married in 2002, resident of Utrecht - The Netherlands, have one spoiled dog named Milo and one "gonna be spoiled" baby Isabelle.
This webpage mainly is use to share our story and pictures to our family and friends. But of course we always welcome for new friends.
The idea of this webpage is to share our story and pictures to our family and friends.
Since Ira's Dutch language is far from perfect and Dimitri's Indonesian language is even worse, we decided to use English as the main language in this blog,
eventhough lately due to the laziness of Ira, Indonesian language seems to take over.

Weekend recap
As usual my weekend started on friday  .... Long live part-time job!!!  Had an shopping appointment with Eva that I knew from Indonesian Mixed Couple Forum. We went to Arnhem as Eva still quite new in Netherland and afraid to come to Utrecht by her self. And Doetinchem, where Eva lives is not really convenient to shop around. I used to lived in Anrhem my self so I'm quite familiar with the shops.
I took train to Anrhem.... and it was nice hehehe  I always love train... but I don't get much change'to travel with train as usually I travelled around with Dimitri on car. This is the third time I'm travelling with train in four years living in Netherland.
I met Eva in Arnhem Central Station, took quite some time to found her as they were doing some major changing on the station area. The plan is to companied Eva to look for winter coat but as I brought Dimitri's bankcard, I took advantage to bought some nice stuffs for my self too....  ....
Finished with shopping, we went to small Indonesia Restaurant, resto Sarirassa... why rassa and not rasa????  I have no idea hehehe should ask the owner next time. I ordered bami rames and Eva took nasi rames.... it tasted good, ladies and gentleman!
  
Saturday, we woke up late... playing around with Milo a bit then went to market in Centrum Utrecht, bought groceries for a week, went back to house, unloaded the groceries, take a little nap... life is good!
 At 6 o'clock we were at Susie's house in De Meern, it's about 15 minutes from our house with car. It was very cozy.... and the dinner was superb! Susie, you're a wonderful cook! The sambal was lekker!!!!! Can I order one pot from you?  . We stayed until 1 o'clock, wasn't planning to stay that long because we know that Susie and Frank have 4 kids and they used to woke up early. But we don't really pay attention at the time, Sorry Susie... hehehe poor Kelvin, he fell asleep in the living room. We talked about almost everything, to visa until passport, to politics until police, to sambal until holidays. Het was gezellig..... next time is your turn to visit us, Susie! Bring the kids too... if they don't mind
Sunday, woke up late again . Dimitri made pannekoek for breakfast. Cut the grass, cleaned the garden abit. At 14.30, Dimitri's parents arrived and we were headed to Amsterdam, to Dimitri's brother's new appartment. he just moving out together with his gf to anew apprtment right in the centrum of Amsterdam. It is a very nice 2 storey appartment with quite a nice view. Stayed there till 20.00 pm, went back to Utrecht as Dimitri still has to do some document for monday.
Nice but a busy weekend!
