About us
We are Indonesian-Dutch couple, married in 2002, resident of Utrecht - The Netherlands, have one spoiled dog named Milo and one "gonna be spoiled" baby Isabelle.
This webpage mainly is use to share our story and pictures to our family and friends. But of course we always welcome for new friends.
The idea of this webpage is to share our story and pictures to our family and friends.
Since Ira's Dutch language is far from perfect and Dimitri's Indonesian language is even worse, we decided to use English as the main language in this blog,
eventhough lately due to the laziness of Ira, Indonesian language seems to take over.
Please feel free to browse around and give us your comment.

Materialistic?
Am I a materialistic person? That question has been bugging me in the last few days. Since friday I keep thinking about all the stuffs that we lost, how much more money we have to pay to make everything back to normal, keep thinking what if this.... what if that... if I wasn't lazy to cook that friday we would not be going to Albert Heijn then all this won't happen... if I would just going alone to Albert Heijn and Dimitri wait outside in the car... if I would have tell Dimitri to keep his bag in the bagage like usually I did.... lots of ifs....
Back to the question? Am I a materialistic person? Or it just me being a woman? I'm tend to cling on my possesion very much... I'm very upset if I lost something... Dimitri took this very easy.... he just shuddered his shoulder and keep going... life goes on... he was quite very cool and periodic... first called the police/112, then ABNAMRO then BMW dealer then this then that..... wihout losing his calmness... I wish I can be like that
Am I a bad person? I keep hoping bad thing happen to those S.O.B. I hope they're not happy, I hope they don't live long, I hope they get hit by car, I hope they die of herpes (at this point Dimitri lauughed at me and say people can't die of herpers, or can't they? hehehehe I don't care... I want them unhappy) Dimitri said, at least we make some kid happy.... somebody right now is happy with his/her new laptop, some other happy with PDA
Sometimes I think Dimitri is more Indonesian than me, the Indonesian.... he just let it flow and think with javanese way "luckily (masih untung)" I'm not really sure if that the correct translation....
Dimitri : Luckily it was the old laptop. he planned to buy new one when we have enough money
Dimitri: Luckily they don't see my mobile phone it was left on the car too
Dimitri: Luckily they don't take you bag as well I also left my bag and just bring my wallet in to the supermarket
Ach well, life goes on.... *still secretly hoping those S.O.B. die of herpes*

I think it's the instant reponses as a housewife for taking money thing very serious. Living standard in Netherlands is very high and we have to try really hard to meet both ends and reserve for saving. I don't think you are an awful person to wish that those gangs got punishment. If it happened to me, I wanted to eat them lively piece by piece!!! Besides, you should not wish that they die of Herpes. It should be AIDS!!!!

hahaha didungakno herpes hihihi! ah ira ... itu manusiawi! jelas kalo orang mangkel ya gitu reaksinya. what if this, what if that, wish could turn back time ... aku juga begitu. coba think positive kayak dimitri : masih untung ini, masih untung itu. untung kamu gak bertemu muka dengan malingnya, sapa tau dia bawa pisau atau apa dan ngelukai salah satu dari kalian. materi bisa dicari lagi.
