We are Indonesian-Dutch couple, married in 2002, resident of Utrecht - The Netherlands, have one spoiled dog named Milo and one "gonna be spoiled" baby Isabelle.
This webpage mainly is use to share our story and pictures to our family and friends. But of course we always welcome for new friends.
The idea of this webpage is to share our story and pictures to our family and friends.
Since Ira's Dutch language is far from perfect and Dimitri's Indonesian language is even worse, we decided to use English as the main language in this blog,
eventhough lately due to the laziness of Ira, Indonesian language seems to take over.

ik hou van jou
Last night we watched rerun of Oprah Show on the bed just before we went to sleep. We don't really follow the whole show, was just zapping through all the channels when we stumbled on Oprah. It was about a young couple that fell in love and got married and was on the way to their honeymoon when all of the sudden the husband went missing. He said to the wife that he forgot his wallet and went to the car to get it but he never return. The car still standing there on the parking lot, no husband no wallet. His wife went to police. They fond him 3 days later on the abandoned area with empty look on his face. He can't remember a thing... not his name not his wife.. nothing
Doctors declared he has amnnesia. He has to learn everything again. His wife stand by his side on the recovery proces. On the interview, he said that everything is new for him... even a taste of an orange is new. At one point Oprah asked him, "do you fall in love with your wife again" He doesn't really answer Oprah's question in yes or no, he replied. "what to not to like about her? She loves me, she stands by me all the time" .... but he doesn't say if he loves her... in my opinion he doesn't and maybe she also doesn't loves him anymore... their body language is all wrong....
Of course I'm not really an expert in body language, but you can see it clearly.... they sit far away from each other... never even touching hand or anything... she doesn't even look at him... sad.... really sad
I asked Dimitri, if that would happen to us... will he fall in love with me again? Dimitri, as a good trained husband... give answer that wife wants to hear of course... hehehe  He said, "natuurlijk liefje, I'm in love with you once... I will fall in love with again for sure" hehehe goed zo jonge... 
Ach... ik hou van jou bertubi-tubi deh....

We watched the show together too. However, you know how stubborn for those scientists! When I asked the same question to Thijs as you did to Dimitri, he kept on telling me how logically impossible and tried to calculate the possibilty for those things happen on him. ahhh... I think it's much easier to train up a pig swimming than ask him to say something sweet!!

Ada banyak hal yang bisa ditebak dalam hidup ini, tapi lebih banyak yang 'gak bisa kita tebak. Ada hal2 yang bisa dijelaskan dengan logika dan teori, ada dan banyak yang tidak ada penjelasannya.

Ir..kenalan gw suaminya jg ilang ingatan(bukan gila loh! kekeke), karena stroke. Istri dan anak2xnya (semua udah pada merit) nerima keadaan dgn lapang dada..Semua harus belajar dr mula..ngingetin nama dr istrinya sampe mantu2x boo.. Kenalan gw ituw kuat loh, tetep sayang sm suaminya, begitu jg anak2x en mantu2x serta cucu2x.. sayang dia sampe akhir hayatnya..ebat yah! *acung jempol*
Goed zooo Dimitri..daripada di tonjok lo..wakakaka..Canda aaah! :D

hai ir, demen oprah yaa. selain ophrah, ik demen dr. phil ! eh, sebelum lupa, aku en keluarga, mo ngucapin met natal en taun baru ya... semoga taun depan kita lebih sehat, lebih sukses dan lebih bersyukur..
