About us
We are Indonesian-Dutch couple, married in 2002, resident of Utrecht - The Netherlands, have one spoiled dog named Milo and one "gonna be spoiled" baby Isabelle.
This webpage mainly is use to share our story and pictures to our family and friends. But of course we always welcome for new friends.
The idea of this webpage is to share our story and pictures to our family and friends.
Since Ira's Dutch language is far from perfect and Dimitri's Indonesian language is even worse, we decided to use English as the main language in this blog,
eventhough lately due to the laziness of Ira, Indonesian language seems to take over.
Please feel free to browse around and give us your comment.

My first boerenkool !!!!
Yep..... you read it right.... of course it's not really "my first boerenkool"... I've been eating them many time in the past 2 years but it always microwave stuff from Albert Heijn or Dimitri cooked it. But this time I cooked it my self from scratch and it tastes good, if I may say it my self....
To who doesn't know... boerenkool is typical dutch food, especially in the winter. It contains potatoes, boerenkool (I have no idea what it called in english), bacon, some milk and sausages. And it actually very easy to make it... just lots of work...
Oya, this is how boerenkool looks like:
And this is how I made my boerenkool.....
First boil the potatoes with some milk and water, boil boerenkool in another pan, fried the sausages...
Mixed potatoes and boerenkool, add some pepper and salt
Mash potatoes and boerenkool, add some more milk if you like
Mash it some more.... I did told you that it involved a lots of work, didn't I?
Put some bacon for extra taste... mash it again...
In serve
Dimitri tries his best to looked that he liked it... hehehe... just kidding.. of course he likes it... does he? doesn't he? hmmmmm
